Role of auslandspolice and relationship with PassportCard
auslandspolice is operated by Biturai L.L.C-FZ. This website explains the product and payment mechanics and links to the PassportCard offer. Biturai does not accept applications on this website, conclude an insurance contract or act as the insurer.
Under the role allocation confirmed in writing by PassportCard, Biturai acts as an introducer, not an insurance intermediary. On auslandspolice, Biturai is limited to general information and the marked link. If a contract is concluded through that link, PassportCard pays Biturai an introducer fee.
The PassportCard flow handles the offer and application. Biturai does not become a party to the policy. The individual offer and policy alone identify the insurer and any other contracting parties.
Biturai does not give individual insurance advice, perform a needs analysis or make an individual plan recommendation on this website.
Insurers and PassportCard
PassportCard Europe GmbH states that it operates as an insurance agent under a licence pursuant to section 34d(1) of the German Trade Regulation Act (registration number D-ZGZO-GZRZI-64, registration authority: Hamburg Chamber of Commerce). Its current contact page also lists the Hamburg Local Court commercial register under HRB 170932.
PassportCard names Allianz Partners (AWP Health & Life SA) and MGEN Portugal – Companhia de Seguros, S.A. as risk carriers for the international health insurance products it intermediates. This does not mean that both underwrite every individual product together. The individual offer and policy prevail.

Consumer dispute resolution
Biturai L.L.C-FZ is not willing to participate voluntarily in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Any statutory information or participation requirement that applies in a particular case remains unaffected.
