How personal data is handled on auslandspolice.

1. Controller

The controller for this website is:

Biturai L.L.C-FZ
Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road
Nad Al Sheba, U.A.E.
P.O. Box 77894, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
info@biturai.com

Further details are provided in the legal notice.

2. What this website processes today

The current auslandspolice build is a static, server-rendered information website. It has no customer account, contact or application form, newsletter or payment function.

The browser currently receives no cookies, analytics or marketing tools and no persistent user identifiers. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own deployment; a normal page view does not load content from Google, PassportCard or another third party into the browser.

This description applies only to auslandspolice. It does not describe what an external provider processes after a visitor clicks the offer link.

3. Technical connection data and hosting

The website is delivered through Vercel. For delivery, security and error diagnosis, technically necessary connection data may be processed, including IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent, response status and technical error data. Biturai does not operate a user or profile database on this website and does not copy Vercel logs into a separate analytics or marketing system.

Vercel currently documents a three-day retention period for runtime logs; the current project configuration and the Vercel privacy policy prevail. Processing may take place outside the EU or EEA.

4. Leaving for PassportCard

The “Get a quote” button is a direct link to PassportCard's offer flow. Only when it is clicked does the browser connect to angebote.passportcard.de. The link carries two technical attribution parameters so PassportCard can attribute a successful referral to Biturai. Biturai sets no cookie and receives no health, identity or payment data through this website.

From the moment the PassportCard flow is opened, PassportCard is responsible for the processing there. The offer, application and policy process may include identity and health data. Please read the PassportCard privacy notice before making an enquiry. PassportCard lists Datenschutz@passportcard.de as a contact for its data protection team.

The insurance contract is not concluded with Biturai. It is concluded only with PassportCard or the insurer named in the offer and policy. Processing in that flow is governed by PassportCard's documents, not this notice.

5. Contact by email

If you contact Biturai by email, Biturai processes the contact details and message content you provide to handle the enquiry. The data is deleted when the enquiry is completed unless statutory retention duties or a legitimate interest in documenting the communication apply. The privacy terms of the mail provider used for the communication also apply.

6. Legal bases and your rights

Technical delivery and security are based on the legitimate interest in a safe and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). A voluntary email enquiry is processed as necessary to handle the enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on its content).

Subject to the statutory requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability or object to processing. Contact info@biturai.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

7. Updates

This notice is dated 22 August 2026. If tracking, forms, accounts, analytics or additional external services are added, this notice must be updated and reviewed before those features are activated.
